DAS Lille
Posted on Thu 24th November 2005
The Difficult Airway Society is the UK based organisation for clinicians with a specific interest in difficult airway management. Formed in 1995, the DAS meeting aims to improve management of the patient's airway by anaesthetist’s and critical care personnel.
Leading clinicians from the UK and further a field gather annually to discuss new techniques, partake in airway workshops and review current and newly launched difficult airway devices to assist in their practice. The McGRATH® was exhibited within the trade section at the Aircraft Medical's hands on style booth supported by our own product specialists.
For the first year the 2005 meeting was held outside the UK. The DAS presence in Lille had a more international feel which was reflected with speakers who had travelled from a variety of other countries such as Austria, Denmark and the US, with a number of presentations also given from French and British anaesthetist’s.
