Aircraft Medical extends European distribution with new contracts to cover Spain, Portugal and Austria. (Press Release)

EDINBURGH, June 20, 2008 - Aircraft Medical (the “Company”), the UK medical devices company which specialises in Anaesthesia and Critical Care, is pleased to announce it has signed 5-year distribution agreements for Spain, Portugal and Austria which could generate revenue in excess of £2.5m over the period - providing exclusive distribution rights for the McGrath® Series 5 (the “McGrath®”), the world’s first fully portable video laryngoscope.
The deal signed with Bioser, the largest health distribution network in Spain and Portugal, means that the McGrath® will be available to more than 1,400 hospitals. Bioser was established in 1988 to distribute medical devices to hospitals in the areas of Anaesthesia, General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery and Urology.
In Austria, Aircraft Medical has signed a 5-year deal with Menges Medizintechnik GmbH (MeMed) to cover the Austrian market. MeMed has extensive experience in the video laryngoscope market.
