Aircraft Medical expands Research and Development team (Press Release)

Aircraft Medical, the UK medical devices company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Inglis as Head of Research and Development. Aircraft Medical launched its flagship product the McGrath® Series 5 in the summer of 2006 and has since secured 5-year deals in the US and Europe that could total £37m over the period.
Peter Inglis joins from leading Glasgow-based design agency, 4c Design (“4c”) where he was Co-Founder and Managing Director. Peter managed 4c and a high profile client list including Honeywell, leading medical device manufacturers, and high-volume consumer brands such as Mothercare, Tomy, Hasbro and Red Bull.
During his career, Peter has won a number of business, design and entrepreneurship awards including Creative Entrepreneur of the Year award from The Lighthouse, Scotland’s Centre of Design Excellence and two awards from the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce). He has a first class degree in product design engineering from the University of Glasgow and Glasgow School of Art.
In addition to Peter’s appointment, Morgan Walker joins the R&D team as a lead research designer. Morgan has worked in the research departments of a number of high-profile organisations such as the Ford Motor Company and Philips Design head quarters in Eindhoven, Holland. Both Peter and Morgan have worked as design consultants to Aircraft Medical since 2002 and 2004 respectively.
