Aircraft Medical continues it European sales drive with new appointment (Press Release)

Aircraft Medical, the UK medical devices company is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Whitehead as European Sales & Distributor Manager. Simon is based in Edinburgh and will report to David Bowie, Head of Sales & Marketing.
Simon spent five years at Kodak Health Imaging, where he held a number of key positions. Latterly, he was Strategic Product Group Manager, where he was responsible for the operational and strategic management of the Film, Capture and Output Group for the Emerging Markets. From Kodak, Mr Whitehead moved to Invitrogen Ltd. where he was responsible for improving the performance of over 160 distributors in various markets as Distributor Marketing Manager
Simon’s appointment comes at a time when Aircraft Medical has already signed a number of significant European distribution deals including, France, Benelux, Italy and Scandinavia. Aircraft Medical has established a strong foothold in the majority of the key medical devices markets with its revolutionary McGRATH® Series 5 Portable Video Laryngoscope.
McGRATH® Series 5 was launched towards the end of 2006 and quickly attracted a series of 5-year deals that could generate revenues up to £47m in USA and Europe.
