PARIS, June 8, 2012 - Aircraft Medical announced the launch of the McGRATH® MAC 2blade during one of Europe’s largest anaesthesia events, Euroanaesthesia 2012, The European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA) annual congress in Paris.
As the first disposable paediatric video laryngoscope designed for both direct and indirect vision, the McGRATH® MAC 2 is compatible with Aircraft's McGRATH® MAC video laryngoscope and has been specifically designed to address the challenges of paediatric intubation in everyday practice.
The McGRATH® MAC 2 blade is designed to provide physicians with a clear view of the vocal cords to help facilitate easier intubation and reduce airway complications. It is also the first disposable, Macintosh profiled video laryngoscope blade for paediatric patients, ensuring it is guaranteed sterile for every patient.
