Malcolm was until recently a Senior Corporate Finance Partner, and is now a Consultant to Shepherd & Wedderburn, the UK commercial solicitors. He has over 30 years in-depth practical experience as a commercial lawyer with particular emphasis on Funds, together with International and Stock Exchange related transactions. He has lived and worked in the Middle East and in Europe. Malcolm is a director of Trading Emissions PLC and IDMoS plc (both listed on AIM) and he is the Secretary of Axis-Shield plc (listed in London and Oslo). In addition he is a director of several private companies and a member of the Strategic Advisory Board for the Business School at Glasgow University.
