Clinical
Clinical evaluation of the McGRATH® Series 5 has demonstrated new advantages in managing the airway, both in difficult and routine procedures. Superior imaging, ease of use and portability means it is fast becoming a device of choice for routine use. Its on-board imaging system is designed to allow visualisation of the laryngeal inlet during Grade 1-4 intubations, which is of particular significance where the anaesthetist would otherwise be intubating 'blind'. Be it a difficult intubation or a routine case, the McGRATH® has been shown to allow users to intubate with substantially less force. The flat mounted LCD screen has enabled users to better communicate with others present, who can also visualise the anatomy and tube placement, shortening training times, and giving total peace of mind and confidence that the airway is secure.
